~ thoughts and blerbs, as they trickle ~

feeling so out of place in this world(how I wish there were others to tryout)
. . . . .
isn't religion just another MLM scheme?
. . . . .
it's easy to forget that parents are also individuals.
. . . . .
climate and environment and conflict with going vegan, meat just tastes so good. also in Kenya it's not easy nor affordable, but can maybe do vegetarian, but incorporated options such as lentils and reduced my eggs, still a long way to go.
. . . . .
women and girls are their own individual person and autonomous human beings and they don't have to be related to or know someone for men to address GBV and femicide and the fact that men are the cause of it to begin with.
. . . . .
the beginning of the end. the end of the beginning. i kinda like 'the end of the beginning'. sounds ominous, i know, i guess it's because 'beginnings' are generally seen to be a good thing, in mostly positive connotations but i like to think it's similar to the word 'consequences' - meaning it can be either positive or negative, from a point of light or darkness(i like me some darkness 😄). there are some beginnings that should have had a swift end to them and now, unfortunately, we are far from the beginning of their ends(chessy AF, i know 😅). also wishing for an end may be a star too distant so i guess when i think about it... some things should never have had a beginning in the first place.
. . . . .
looking at things from your perspective and not realising or even knowing just how much someone has tried and tried their best but nothing is happening or changing.
. . . . .
recognising, unlearning, relearning, learning a new: some are so deep in the subconscious psyche, not sure if can unlearn them in time..
. . . . .
mob/societal/colonial/defeatist mentality on certain subjects/topics instead of critical thinking and analysis. instead of trying to understand and find a way to do something or say something that challenges such thinking/norms.
. . . . .
okay, so things got me thinking, like what would that look like - a world where things are better? this of course is a vast and complex subject that i have very little experience in(working on it) but i keep coming back to it every now and then, so i thought i'd see what i could come up with as a simple thought exercise. i figured beginning with basic needs would be a decent place to start, considering that we all need them as human beings and therefore should always be available and accessible to everyone. so then the question is.. how can all individuals and households be self sufficient and not want for basic needs? What would that entail? every individual and household to have their own so as to make their own, like everyone must have their own means of production right?
. . . . .
how are there levels of respect and accountability? shouldn't it just be respect and accountability? like, are there tiers to this? "you should be more respectful or you should be more accountable". it's either you're respectful and accountable or not, there shouldn't be levels to it because that leaves room for all manner of fuckery and i'm not saying everyone and everything deserves our respect or to be accountable but make it clear if it is or isn't the case - hoping that one can also be truthful with themselves, a whole other point to address. although i find 'respect' having being weaponised in society, used to control, manipulate and probably having lost its original point/meaning so there's already baggage coming with it that may render it moot to begin with but either way, i think we need to make it clear which it is.
. . . . .
"that's life" - nah fellow human, fuck that! i saw a post that said something along the lines of "life isn't supposed to be comfortable".. it's wild how conditioned we are to suffering and being treated like shit by other fellow humans, not nature or the cycle of life, other fucking humans and then say things like "that's life" and continue going about your day of suffering - nah fellow human, fuck that!
. . . . .
out of sight out of mind, when not affected by bad governance and incompetence, you don't bother doing anything about it. no power, no water, health care, security etc..
. . . . .
why are there 'haves and have nots? nobody should have advantages or privileges because non of this should be a competition to begin with. once something becomes a competition there is always the need to have more, push further and always win, regardless of the cost that this adds into the already vast cesspit that is 'living'. continuing as if this is okay just doesn't make sense, unless you look at it from the perspective that we do enjoy the competition and revel in its spoils and the ruin we leave behind as a result. after all, the policy of 'scorched earth' is of our making - letting it all burn for the sake of maintaining your position. it's really messed up how we reward narcissism and collective self-importance. "gotta lookout for me and mine" cannot be how we view things, if we cannot view things through a lens of community then we are well on our way to furthering the social construct of 'haves and have nots' with devastating results in tow.
. . . . .
fighting my own insecurities but also trying to be honest about them and working on those that i can.. fuckin' hell, they are many..😅
. . . . .
a lot of the world is built on systems of oppression and hate, therefore what comes after is considered 'the norm' and how a lot of that leans into who we are, how we interact and view others and the world in general..
. . . . .
having children just so that you can tick a box is wild AF, these are human beings you're talking about, not some milestone to be achieved.. ffs
. . . . .
uh uh.. nah.. this shit is too far gone, there's no way to build on top of this, a total and complete collapse is necessary because.. wtf!
. . . . .
anger, frustration and despair all accumulating to chaos - both internal and external..
. . . . .
power dynamics will always be present, privilege will always be present, therefore so will ignorance, be mindful of where people are at and from..
. . . . .
“teach me how to dookie, teach me teach me how to dookie” 😄
. . . . .
the 'law', as it is, only works for the bourgeoisie, just as it was intended to, and until these systems are dismantled and abolished, there is absolutely nothing that will ever change for the betterment of the people.. 'change' whilst within these systems is nothing but a facade - we will always be oppressed.
. . . . .
“PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!” 😄
. . . . .
biases, double standards and judging are all going to be present, being honest about them and working on not acting on them is where it's at, it's not easy but it really makes a difference..
. . . . .
been on my mind that, multiple points of teaching/learning on how to think and the practice of it are vital, especially in the ever hostile environment towards free and critical thinking.. as an example: how community would gather and converse.. all manner of teaching and thought would be expressed, shared and also passed down - including the process of thinking and how to practice it in various ways.. and this is being done, which is awesome to see because, in my case, if it weren't for their continuous efforts, i'd probably still be stuck at the surface because.. doing this alone is soo not a plan.. 😅
. . . . .
a lifetime in a trickle, spilling down the drain, descending, descending
. . . . .
you could have all the love in the world, and still not want to exist..
. . . . .
what an opp CSR is. lol.. capitalist entities do not care about justice and equity, that's like mixing water and oil, it will never work, capitalist entities have and always will be tools of oppression..
. . . . .
