Step-By-Stumble
sigh..
the constant fighting and subsequent widening of divisions between Kenya's ethnic groups on matters largely at the fault of the government, is truly disheartening..
the frustrations and disillusionment towards the country simply not working for the people, because of the deliberate inactions and actions of the governments over the decades, and of-course, the effects of colonialism, are all at play here – which is all by design..
in some twisted way, some are even defending the government, while others are just looking to secure themselves and their own - the scramble is real, and the hope for a unified front against the ruling class is looking more and more distant..
i don't know but like..
are we, once again, missing the train towards class consciousness?
i think about this a lot, like the idea, the hope, the dream of a united front from all and every background..
wouldn't that be something
then i come across other Kenyans, who have no feelings of despair like i do and are always looking towards that dream, fighting for it, and especially even through joy; every single day, that unrealised eventuality - a united and free people..
and when i see this from Kenyans, from different backgrounds, from all over the country, i think..
yeah, yeah.. it's not all lost is it.. and tomorrow - we continue
so, i guess, here's to tomorrow, inspired by my fellow Wananchi.. 🙂
