“hey, how’s your family?” * looks puzzled * “who, me?”
so, way before my first "waaaaa" as a newborn, it was already chaos..
think of it as when the ground is violently disturbed and the dust and debris is lifted into the air and creates a dust storm, one as thick as hair, making it almost impossible to see anything..
and now being born into that and having to figure out and navigate around, within, and asking yourself: "is there anything that is actually grounded?"
so one day you decide, okay, let me go searching in one direction and see what i find, maybe there's something somewhere right? yeah, let's just say in another life, i may have been a cartographer.. 😄
eventually i realised that, even if the dust settled and i could see everything around me clearly, that it still wouldn't make a difference because at the end of the day, there was never much of anything out there - just smoke and mirrors..
was there even one to begin with
you know growing up as a child, sensing that things aren't quite as they seem or okay but not knowing what that is or what to do about it is so not a plan..
and it made me realise that some people don't really think it through when it comes to having children, yes including my own genetic donors(apologies mother, lol), like as though it's just a box on a list to tick along the way or something..
it's absolutely ridiculous what children have to go through just because "that's what you're supposed to do" you know, have kids, and then having to live your life through adulthood with all that fuckery and it only ever gets worse - yoh, so not a plan..
sigh, i'mma have to put a pin on this..
i can feel Bob leaning over my shoulder, breathless, not because of my excellent prose * cough * but because he doesn't, you know, breathe.. 😄
"hi Bob"..
